Currently a Computer Vision consultant at NATO CMRE in La Spezia, Italy. I also serve as CEO and Computer Vision engineer for my company Transform And Lighting S.r.l. Previously, I was a research fellow at the Visual Computing Lab (ISTI-CNR) in Pisa.

I obtained my MSc and PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Pisa. During my studies, I worked on a broad range of topics regarding both Computer Graphics and Computer Vision. See my publications page for more info.

I have worked on a wide variety of topics ranging from 3d rendering and geometry processing to 3D reconstruction and deep learning. Check out my projects page for more details.

My languages of choice are C++ and Python. I regularly work with lots of CV and CG frameworks and libraries like: OpenCV, TensorFlow, OpenGL, OpenMesh, CGAL and more.
